Hey! We wanted to connect with you all today to let you know our newest shirt we’ve been offering, and our customers are loving it! I’m convinced you will too!
It’s called ALLMADE. Yes, Allmade. I said it no more explanation needed! Well maybe… here it goes. Allmade is a brand that was created for multiple reasons its eco-friendly, comfortable, and helping families in Haiti. The company is founded by several screen printers who wanted to make a difference. So how do Allmade shirts make a difference let’s talk about it.
• First, these shirts are made from recycled polyester. There are billions of plastic water bottles that get wasted per year. The plastic used from these bottles are processed into polyester yarn which reduces waste.
• Second, these shirts are made from organic cotton. Regular cotton uses pesticides and requires several gallons of water for a single t-shirt. Allmade is organic, non-GMO, and grown in the US.
• Third, Modal is what creates the soft feel of the shirt. Modal is made from sustainably harvested beech trees. Most of these materials are sourced in the US, shipped to Haiti to be sewn and then shipped back to the US for sale. Most shirts travel 16,000 miles whereas these shirts travel much less then that due to the way its manufactured and created.
Typically, in Haiti families cannot make enough money to support themselves. Often parents have to give their kids away to the orphanage to get basic needs met. Allmade partnered with the Global Orphan Project to produce great shirts, while also fighting poverty. The facility in Haiti where All made shirts are created/produced is helping people have dignified work and keep their families together. These workers get paid 5 x the standard wage and can meet the basic needs of their family.
The cost of these shirts is very comparable to other brands you are used to and they are so soft. They come in different color options and unisex, ladies cut, and V-neck. These shirts are so purposeful, and we encourage you to consider these for your next shirt order! Contact us today for more information.
